The Danville San Ramon Rotary Scholarship
The Rotary Club may also award several non-renewable scholarships from $1,000 – $3,500.
High school work, including courses taken and extracurricular activities should demonstrate that the student is ready for the challenge of college or a trade school.
Eligible students will be graduating from California High School or San Ramon Valley High School in the City of San Ramon.
Student will begin attending a college or trade/vocational school in the fall of 2025.
Student must remain enrolled full-time with a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or its equivalent to continue to receive funds.
The $7,500 Scholarship includes individual mentoring and requires recipients to communicate with their mentor, be involved with the Danville San Ramon Rotary Club and participate in community service events during their college years. Student is encouraged to give back to their community during summer and school breaks.

Selection Criteria
The Danville San Ramon Rotary Scholarship Committee will consider community service, academics, financial need, personal statements and recommendations. We will be looking for well-rounded students who demonstrate they are prepared for college or the trades through activities included in high school, particularly those that reflect leadership and, community service activities, and work experience.
Scholarships will be awarded where the committee believes this award can make a significant difference in the life of this student.
Individual Interviews
After reviewing all complete applications by the deadline of February 21, 2025, the Danville San Ramon Rotary Scholarship committee will invite finalists for individual interviews.
The mandatory individual interviews are tentatively scheduled for the week of March 10, 2025
All scholarship information is confidential and will not be shared with anyone other than members of the Danville San Ramon Rotary Scholarship Committee and associated Board of Directors without permission of the applicant.

1. Transcript of high school record.
2. Application
3. Letters of recommendation or completed Student Recommendation Form.
A. One letter of recommendation from a high school teacher who taught applicant within the past two years.
B. One letter of recommendation from a counselor, employer, mentor, coach or other (non-relative) adult. Not a teacher.
