Welcome to a New Rotary Year!

As we step into this exciting new adventure, we’re proud to embrace this year’s Rotary International theme: “Unite for Good.”

Together, as members of the Danville San Ramon Rotary Club, we’ll continue to strengthen our community, build lasting friendships, and create meaningful change—locally and around the world. Let’s unite our efforts, our passions, and our purpose to make an even greater impact in the year ahead. Here’s to a year of service, unity, and doing good—together!

Thank You, Chris Gayler “Hammer Time” – Our Master Builder of Rotary

Chris, what a year it’s been! You’ve led the Rotary Club of Danville San Ramon with heart, humor, and the kind of steady hand usually reserved for blueprints and building permits. As the first president of our newly merged club, you didn’t just step into big shoes—you poured the foundation, framed the walls, and installed the roof.

You helped bring together three clubs with three histories, three cultures, and three foundations—and somehow turned us into one united, energized Rotary family. Under your leadership, we’ve built more than community projects—we’ve built trust, friendships, and momentum for the future. You kept us grounded, aligned, and upright, even when the blueprints weren’t always clear. And you did it all with aplomb, a plumb line and that signature Chris Gayler grin.

Thank you for an incredible year. Only you could have merged three clubs without needing a permit extension.

With gratitude and admiration for your toolbelt of leadership skills,

Your Rotary Family

Welcome Message from the President

I’m truly excited to step into this year as your President—especially under the inspiring Rotary theme: Unite for Good. There’s something powerful about that call to action, and it couldn’t be more fitting for our club. Because we united dedicated Rotarians from three Rotary clubs, today we stand as a vibrant, passionate group making a real difference—in our community, internationally, and with youth.

We are incredibly strong in service. But none of what we do is possible without one essential element: our members. That’s why my focus this year is on something just as important as service—strengthening and growing our membership.

Engaged members are the heart of Rotary. They lead projects, spark ideas, and create the energy that makes people want to join—and stay. This year, my goals are to:

  • Welcome 12 new members
  • Average 40 attendees at our meetings
  • Keep meetings fresh and fun—with great speakers, surprises, and real connection

We want to attract new, dynamic members—like those who joined us in the past year—and reignite engagement among all our current members. The more connected we are, the greater our impact.

You’ll be hearing about plenty of ways to get more involved, from hands-on service to socials to helping us grow. Whether you’ve been here for years or just joined, your voice, energy, and ideas matter.

Energy creates energy. Let’s make this a year where we truly show the power of Rotary when we Unite for Good—and have fun doing it!

Please reach out any time if you would like to connect.
