Supporting Futures with Amigos de Guatemala
The Danville San Ramon Rotary Club is proud to partner with Amigos de Guatemala, a dedicated nonprofit organization that has been transforming lives for over 20 years. The organization focuses on providing financial support and opportunities for young people, concentrating in the town of Zacualpa, to receive and complete their primary and high school education, as well as gain access to quality medical care.
Education past sixth grade is at the cost of the families. Amigos de Guatemala sponsors students starting in middle school and supports them all the way through high school graduation—helping ensure they have a strong foundation for the future. Our Rotary Club sponsors one student on their journey, and several of our members also personally sponsor students, making a direct impact on individual lives and entire communities.
Beyond education, Amigos de Guatemala understands that good health is essential to learning and success. That’s why the organization also supports access to essential medical care, so that every student has the opportunity to thrive.
By empowering youth through education and healthcare, Amigos de Guatemala helps them pursue meaningful work and contribute to diverse, vibrant societies. We are honored to support this impactful mission—and invite others to join us in creating lasting change, one student at a time.
