Community Service
The Danville San Ramon Rotary club is deeply committed to community service, volunteering, and fundraising to support schools in the San Ramon Valley and numerous nonprofit organizations. Here are some of the service projects we completed locally in the last few months:
- Provided 145 Thanksgiving Food Boxes to Shelter, Inc. in Concord
- Helped local seniors with repairs, yard work, and safety improvements as part of our Home Team program
- Distributed dictionaries to third-grade students at several elementary schools in Alamo, Danville, and San Ramon
- Organized the Online Auction for Education; proceeds benefit our local public schools and international educational programs
- Distributed nearly 100 Target gift cards and a truck load of donated essentials at Trinity Center in Walnut Creek
- Delivered 100 backpacks filled with essential school supplies at Shelter, Inc. in Concord
- Assembled four convertible benches that transform into two picnic table sets for Sunflower Hill in Livermore
- Delivered hundreds of high quality @Bombas socks to Trinity Center in Walnut Creek for their clothing closet
